Slow Burn: Part 1

Oct 19, 2025    Pastor Nathan Harvey

In our fast-paced world, we often equate slowing down with stagnation or failure. However, this message challenges us to embrace a 'slow burn' faith - a steady, enduring flame for the Lord. Drawing from Psalm 139 and Ecclesiastes 3, we're reminded that God's timing is perfect, even when it feels slow to us. The key is to trust in His process, understanding that He's shaping us for future purposes. This isn't about putting our faith on pause, but actively engaging with God, asking 'What are you teaching me in this season?' It's a call to shift our perspective, seeing seemingly quiet moments as opportunities for deep growth and alignment with God's will. By practicing patience and intentional waiting, we open ourselves to unexpected blessings and the chance to be God's hands and feet in the world.
